How do I submit an abstract for the conference?

As a presenter, do I need to register for the conference?​
Yes, all oral, poster, lightning, symposium, and workshop presenters are required to register in full for the conference.
Can I attend the conference without presenting?​
Yes! We welcome all attendees regardless of whether you are presenting or not.
When will submission decisions be communicated?
Decisions on submissions will be communicated in mid- to late-March 2026.

What is the format of the conference?
We are extremely excited to host an in-person conference this year in Paris, France! Unless there is a French government-imposed international travel ban to France, we will not provide remote online attendance.

Will travel grants be offered?​
ISAZ will offer Student Travel Awards, a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Award, and an Early Career Award in 2026. The deadline for these awards is 11:59 PM PST on Thursday, February 5, 2026. To learn more about these awards and apply, visit the ISAZ Awards Page on the ISAZ website.
What are the visa requirements to enter France?​
Visit https://france-visas.gouv.fr/en/web/france-visas/visa-wizard to check whether a travel visa is required for international travelers visiting France. Please note, when entering your "Nationality," do not use the name of your country. Instead use the term used for people of your country.
