Located on the right bank in the 19th arrondissement, the museum stands at the northern edge of the 135-acre La Villette Park, which features sprawling lawns, recreational areas, and major cultural and entertainment venues. In 2024, the park was a celebration spot for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Travel To Paris
Arriving by Train
Paris can be reached by train in a matter of hours from elsewhere in France and all major European cities. All 9 stations bring you right into the heart of the city. They are situated in different areas of Paris relating to the destinations that the trains serve, and are well connected to the public transport network (metro, RER, bus). Make sure you don’t forget to validate your rail tickets by punching them in the orange machines located in the concourse and in front of the platforms. Learn more.

The Eurostar station (Gare du Nord) is the closest train station to the conference venue. The conference venue is a 15 minute metro or taxi ride from the Gare du Nord train station.
Arriving by Plane
Reach Paris by one of three airports: Charles de Gaulle, Orly, and Beauvais airports (Please note: Beauvais airport is 85 km from Paris)

The conference venue is approximately 30-45 minutes by taxi from Charles de Gaulle or Orly airport.

From these airports, flat rates apply for journeys to the city center:
Charles de Gaulle: €56 to/from Paris Right Bank (conference venue) and €65 to/from Paris Left Bank
Orly: €45 to/from the Right Bank and €36 to/from the Left Bank.
Official taxis can only be found at the designated taxi stands outside the terminals and are easily identifiable by their illuminated "TAXI" sign.

Once in Paris, the conference venue can be reached easily via urban bus, metro, and tramways lines, with taxi stands just outside museum grounds.
From the Science Center, it takes 20-30 minutes by metro to reach the Opera, Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Orsay museum. It takes about 40 minutes to go to the Eiffel Tower or Arc de Triomphe.
